Sometimes i feel so dumb but it relieves me

So basically i live in a teeny tiny city, and the downtown has the surface someone's local mall in china, im not even joking, and the architecture is so old in some buildings you still have the signs from old shops from a century or two ago...

So shopping ethically has been really hard, actually, just shopping is really hard, borderline impossible. And with the rise of fast fashion since the pandemic it hasnt gotten any better, we used to have an H&M and a Camaieu but they both closed, we also used to have this african/asian beauty supply store but it closed too! I used to love that shop, theyd sell the most amazing dresses for 20-30 bucks max, bandana, satin hats, 1€ nails extensions, everything id ever think about needing.

The only shop we had was a pimkie, which sells kind of preppy clothes, clean girl and stuff and thats not to my taste and its for adult women anyway, so everyone in my city order their clothes online, (either that or they buy clothes from the grocery store)

Ive been out this summer to a bigger city where they have like, 4 ACTUAL MALLS in onlt half the area and visiting them felt like taking a breath of air, but now that im back home i still have this habit of searching my stuff online first, and considering the new school im going to this year is nowhere near downtown but technically not even the city, i didnt realize it but there was so much new shops! they even have destock shops that sell brands surplus so you can get jeans for like, 10 bucks, its refreshing.

I realized that yesterday when ive been looking for a phone vlogging stand and ring lights for literally half the fall holidays and couldnt find any cheap one under 20 bucks, only to find it for 6 bucks at a shop downtown... I didnt take it cus i was heavy but definitely will. They even had microphones! only issue being that the connector was usb C and my phone has a lightening port
