Um... hi
That's my first post on any forum ever, kinda nervous ;-;
Well, I've been reading tarot cards for a while now, but I still need practice to memorize meaning of any card better, so if anyone here would want to get answers or advice from cards I will be happy to help!!
I also need to practice my language so chatting and talking with people will help me too, but I'm too embarrassed of my lack of knowledge to just start texting someone ಥ_ಥ
I speak Russian if it helps

p>hi! spanish speaker here (and also a beginner in tarot), i'll explain how i'm learning the best i can:
i usually base myself on the name, number and picture in the card.
in major arcana, the cards are 22, and each of them points out a point of a story many like to call the fools journey, i recommend to look that up.
in minor arcana, aces mean new beginning and opportunities; twos - partnership and collaboration; threes - teamwork and growth; fours - structure, stability and stagnation; fives - chaos, change; sixes - harmony and balance; sevens - wisdom and self-reflection; eights - taking action, accomplishment and strength; nines - contemplation and obstacles; and - completing the cycle.
pentacles are the element of earth: finances, material possessions. cups are the element of water: emotions, relationships. swords are the element of air: mind, ideas, communication. wands are the elemet of fire: goals, passion, creativity. i extracted this from my notes, since i haven't mastered minor arcana yet...
when i pull a card, i look at the picture and see what does it transmite me; does the figure represented look like an authority? are they feminine, masculine, or androgynous? what are they doing, or going through? what is their expression? where are they now?
i stare at it for a while until something comes up to my mind, and if i can't connect with the card properly i google "(card name) reddit" and look at other's peoples thoughts and interpretations according to different spreads or situations.
OMG THX SO MUCH!!!!! that's really helpful and made me actually understand the concept, i never thought of it like that... learning the meanings of cards get's easier when you learn the story behind it (o´▽`o)
