Love social studies. And I wish I had philosophy in my school :(. As someone who's interested in learning philosophy, where can I start? I'm a little overwhelmed :0.
Start with simple questions like: What does it mean to be human? How should we live? What can we truly know? … Questions like these will lead you into philosophy.
A good starting point is the question of what distinguishes humans from other living beings, such as animals. Many philosophers, like Descartes, Singer, Zimmer and Perler have different views on this topic. Look at their perspectives and form your own opinion! That's how I did it in my philosophy class :) Philosophy embraces many areas such as anthropology, epistemology, ethics, logic and metaphysics. Each of these areas deals with its own guiding questions (research these and create a table summarizing the areas of philosophy and their core questions). Getting to know these areas and questions will help you build a strong foundation in philosophy.

Oh, omg. This is a HUGEEE help. I finally have a starting point!!! What sparked my interest is the show "The good place." It's philosophy heavy and they're probably just basics to u but philosophy is a part of the major plot. Have u seen it? if not, check it out omg

The only class I've genuinely enjoyed in all of my school years is chemistry and piano, they're like the only classes I think are interesting and that I'm good at
Chemistry is so overhated It‘s actually fun when the teach is good
