Cleaning Basics 1 -Learning Adult Skills

💗🎀Let me teach you the basics cuz your parents never did 🎀💗

Basics of cleaning are really simple. I work, as of writing this, in a job that cleans up all sorts of messes- food, all sorts of body fluids, bathrooms- so I do know what I'm talking about.

💗First things first- DO NOT MIX CHEMICALS. I know those aesthetic toilet cleaning videos that were popular a few years ago (no clue of they are still are) looks satisfying, but theres multiple reasons not to. 

You can mix something potentially deadly that will harm your health AND your chemicals will not work properly to actually.... you know.... clean. 

💗Second things second- you don't need a lot of things. Most messes and surfaces can be cleaned with Dawn Liquid Soap mixed with water in a spray bottle (just enough soap to turn the water slightly blue or whatever color it is) and a rag/paper towel. That's really it. Crazy I know. Don't use it in toilets or fabrics but that's a whole different beast to clean. This is just for basics.

If you have extra money to get extra cleaning supplies, I'd say get yourself some disinfectant wipes and lysol spray. Use the wipes on surfaces like countertops and sinks to clean up and kill germs. The lysol can be used on doorknobs and other comminly touched objects to disinfectant them. Again, don't use in fabrics or toilets.

💗If you don't have a broom, get one with a dustpan. You dont need a fancy vacuum if you don't have carpets. (I can explain carpet cleaning later if people need) Sweep floors into piles and then into the dustpan. Dustpans goes into garbage.
