My own passion project

Hi! Good afternoon or good evening :] I wanted to start posting on here more since I reslly enjoy this platform, but I know life stuff gets in the way and I am very sorry about that >_< Please enjoy my passionate yap session!

But for a while (years, actually, since 2019), I have this passion project, a novel of sorts, that I pour hours into all the time with new lore, art, and worldbuilding. You may see in my earlier blog post about my art, as the original characters from there are from this passion project! So I wanted to give a proper introduction, see? I was debating if it was even worth to show, as I am fickle in talking about my passions and trying to connect with others who do the same. But I realized that's what posting is all about; Therefore, I did it for myself and just being happy I can put this out here.

My project is called This Is Home; This project follows a Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre that tries to explore out the confinements of these two popular categories, dabbling in two worlds of the technological Earth and fantastical Calypso. Created by the balance of unknown Archons, Calypso homes a realm of mystical creatures and non-humans, immortal or mortal. Millennium passes, until humankind from Earth discovers and studies the existence of this parallel planet from ours, as they seek to travel farther to enhance the knowledge humans have on another habitable planet with higher quality to Earth.

This was a part of Earth's history, leading to now where humans and non-humans alike possesses the realm of Calypso from its multiple provinces across the globe. Following two stories parallel on two worlds, This is Home is inclusivity through the eyes of their residents; Additionally, using existing properties and the psychological characteristics of real life to ground characters with their beliefs, identities, and conflicts. 

The creation of This Is Home is more than yuppy, in my eyes. Despite me working on it for so long and giving hours of my time to it, it only fuels me to keep me going knowing how much it pulls from things I've seen and embraced of my current lifestyle and others as well. I strive for diversity in my designs, and with said uniqueness between characters and plotlines, its supposed to feel like a warm hug to anyone who peers on its lore, including myself.

Thanks for taking time to read this! I want to post more directly about the main characters I focus on in both stories, named Crusaders and Wonderleis respectively. These names pull into the stories main build around; the Deck of Cards and Tarot Cards.
