Explaining TXT lore as I learn it!

I will start explaining the TXT lore from the very beginning, and just add more and more as I learn it! This is more for my own personal entertainment then anything else, but feel free to read! I'll probably update it once to twice every week(ish). So we'll see how much I get haha.

Debut

TOMMOROWXTOGETHER (commonly known among fans as TXT) is a boy kpop group made up of five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai (listed in order of oldest to youngest). The boys debuted on 4 March 2019 with their first mini album The Dream Chapter: STAR.

NOTE: mini albums are commonly called an EP which stands for extended play.

TXT debuted under the company BigHit Music- which is now a part of HYBE LABELS. The famous boy kpop group BTS is under BigHit Music, and they debuted in 2013. TXT was going to be the first group to debut after BTS, so the kpop industry had a lot of high hopes for these boys. They did not disappoint, as the MV for their debut song "Crown" now holds the record for the most liked kpop debut MV in it's first 24 hours. It also holds the record as the fastest MV to reach 1 million likes on youtube. It also holds the record as the first debut album by a kpop boy group to hit #1 on US iTunes. But it doesn't stop there! Because it also had the best first day sales as a rookie group, selling over 30,000 copies! There very well may be more records that I haven't learnt of yet too!

"Everyone thinks TXT got really lucky and have an easy path, but they have the burden of meeting expectations that have been set. Rookies have chances to grow and shine when they are still rookies, but TXT started on a higher level so it's harder to showcase their growth"
