Tromas Movie Recommendations (for the uneducated)

If you'd look at my profile for a couple of seconds, you'd see I'm a huge huge huge Toxic Avenger and Troma overall fan. They're Gorey, they're offensive, exploitative, and they're fucking great.

So , if you'd like to see why I'm so invested in this independent film company (either to share my love or chastise it) then here are some recommendations! I will leave TWs for the content of each film if necessary (which it will be..)

The Toxic Avenger 1984 -

TWs Gore, violence (including against children), mutation, body horror , attempted SA, jokes about gay people, racial slurs, Nazi jokes, jokes about the blind, and overall sexuality.

Now, don't be scared by the content warning. this film is actually very endearing to my twisted fucked up sense of self. this film has a sweet romance and a very very fun atmosphere with over the top acting, strong action sequences and overall just a good time. Id recommend this! its great ! I love this film dearly !! its great.

Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD -

TWs violence (non explicit towards children, pretty bad towards other scenes) , attempted SA

this film is much, much more tame compared to Toxic Avenger. but its still pretty fun! the tone is on point, there's a few  fun gags and I just really have a great time with it !! solid recommendation

Redneck Zombies -

TW / more SA jokes and attempts, Violence and gore

while this is a Troma pickup, it has the core values of fun value and overall gore I really do love. its actually more shitty than most regular tromas movies but it has elements that remind me of modern comedy... def a solid watch.
