I’m SOO tired of literally everybody in this generation just being so awfully rude. Like kindness takes literally no effort and I don’t understand why people just choose to put people down or say mean words to people it will never make sense to me.
Like for example, on my insta story I reposted a bagel that had a literal mountain of cream cheese on it lol and someone I used to talk to replied to the story and said “you don’t even like bagels like that you’re such a fucking poser” like… what 😭😭 I didn’t even repost it because I like bagels that much it was just funny to me. it’s bothering me so much even though I know it shouldn’t.
And also so fucking what if I’m a poser? Like why does it bother you so much that you felt the need to reply to my story like who even cares omfg 😭😭😭
And it’s not just like the mean comments online. Even when I’m out in public or at work I feel like people (especially teens) are just ruder than ever. And I suppose teenagers have always been rude or known for being assholes and there’s always gonna be shitty people but it just infuriates me cause it’s just stupid and unnecessary. I thought that Gen Z was supposed to be the new “best” generation and be all empathetic and understanding but this generation couldn’t be any further from that tbh.

it seems people are forgeting the value of just being quiet, and then people wonder why each generation is more alone that the other

it doesn't actually make any sense, after the covid gen z just got really mean, i mean we all grew up sure we were kids at that time but most of the gen z just turned into a pure monster. sure teenagers are more rebellious or stubborn but this isn't the usual teenager behaviors. they just bully people to every single detail and its sooo dumb. i really had high expectations on this generation since knowledge is spreading faster and everyone was educating themselves on every topic but it turned out the opposite :/
