Am I the only one slowly becoming obsessed with magazines and stuff?

When I was younger my family members would sometimes have them and I SWEAR they used to look so uninteresting. Maybe its cause they tended to be gossip mags or makeup ones and back then I was still trying to deny that I had ANY sort of affiliation with makeup and effeminate things (I grew out of that. Now the only thing that stops me some days is dysphoria - otherwise pretty happy)

But anyway the past little while I've been finding out about different mags and suddenly I'm SO interested. I WISH I owned Fangorias, I mean, getting to learn and hear stuff about my fav movies + countless other horror films? That sounds AWESOME.

And that's not even the only horror magazine there is out there! Found out about Girls and Corpses recently, a comedy horror mag which has this weird approach on making jokes about death and beauty that I found pretty entertaining. Plus it interviews all sorts - directors, musicians, even a pornstar. They're pretty cool (even though Im sure some people probably make the assumption that they're a legit necro mag or something). Also heard of stuff like Gorezone which has horror centered reviews, interviews and in depth articles about the movies and also this other really cool one called Bite Me magazine which is UK based and focuses on all these vampire and horror themes (something I really want cause I've been OBSESSED with vamps since I was about 7), there's also probably others that I can't remember.

Though of course when I say magazines I don't JUST mean the horror related shit - stuff like Kerrang! is something I'm so interested in too - I've been pretty interested ever since I saw one of their covers with MCR on them (real shocker... yeah ik…) and learnt that they were a music focused mag, specifically a ot of those more alternative genres - metal, grunge, emo, etc. So yeah I thoght it was a pretty cool thing to get to look at.

And look I know most of these mags were probably originally put out when it was a little harder to just get info super easy from your screen, but still! Maybe it's cause I've got a yearning for physical media or something but I really did wish I had the irl form. Half of these are hard af to find online, out of all of them the only PDF my friend and I found was the G & C issue 1 which is cool of course, but even then that doesn't mean I don't wish I had real physical copies to hold in my hands.
