Splatoon phase is soooo backkkkk

So while I was making my daily walk to my designated lunch spot (the bathroom because I have no FRIENDS ugh) I suddenly remembered what I did when I realized that no one actually liked me last year. What was it you may ask? I went to library and checked out the first volume of the Splatoon manga. I really like Splatoon. I like to play Splatoon, I like to read Splatoon, I like to sleep with my Splatoon plushies when the civil protection alert goes off at 9pm talking about some "torrential rain" or something stupid and I start shaking uncontrollably because I hate that stupid fucking purge-sounding alarm, I like to open up the pictures of Splatoon characters on my laptop and set it next to me when I eat lunch.

So clearly I was a Splatoon fanatic in 8th grade. Over the summer I took a break from playing around mid-July due to my month-long trip to my home country, and almost 4-5 months later I have the sudden urge to continue my Splatoon manga and amiibo collection and start playing again. I connect with Splatoon well, I don't associate it with 8th grade even though it was the time I got into it because I dislike 8th grade but I love the franchise. It's an interest of mine that I got into because I didn't have any friends at the time and for the past 2 months I've been spiraling about my social skills going to shit and the people I sit with ignoring me then the Splatoon fixation comes back, so I guess it makes me feel a bit better LOL.
