Hello!! My name's Bria :)

 Within the last few days I got a lot of new friend requests and I'm so excited to see all these cool people with similar interests to me but I'm always really shy about dming people first so I wanted to dump some of my interests and stuff here and invite anyone else to do the same.

First of all tho, I wanna say that I'll interact with kids here to some degree but I don't want to add anyone under 19-20ish and I ESPECIALLY don't ever want kids in my dms. Nothing but respect to you guys but I'm OLDDDD. I mean, not that old, I'm 26. Too old to be your friend tho.

I know you can subscribe to blogs tho?? So if I post anything that interests you and you're a minor, I guess you can do that? Idk, I haven't been seriously active on here long.

First thing people notice about my usually is that I like fashion, but the second thing they'll find out if they et me yap long enough is that I LOVEEEE retro tech. I have a blog post about it too! But I like to thrift dvds and vhs tapes, I watch everything on a CRT TV. Even Bojak Horseman and Shameless, I have them on DVD. No Netflix subscriptions or anything like that tho, I'd rather pay for something once then be done with it.

 I'm a gamedev too! Technically. By that, I mean I made ONE visual novel and I might never make another game again. Making one of the most basic kinds of games was exhausting and took years.
I think I'd rather be the writer for more story based games, but I'd have to find someone I could handle working with first. I also have my own stuff I'm working on so I wouldn't do it anytime soon.

This is my baby <3 It's on steam and itch.io and is free!! Windows only, couldn't get it to work on anything else. I have another blog post about my characters in it too.

 Also, I'm a visual merchandiser at a clothing store. That means I'm the person who helps plan what goes where, makes it all look pretty and dresses up the mannequins.

It's a really fun job even though it's a lot of work. If you work retail, it's a good position to try to move up to. A lot of clothing stores have a visual team, and some will train you a little if you're interested in working towards a job like that. I'm saying all this 'cause some people don't realize this job exists.

This is one of my fixations I've had since I was a teenager, a niche YouTube series called World Doctors.

I used to run an active Tumblr blog about it but now I just pop in there every few months. The creators noticed it tho and called me their biggest fan :)
I also have a running gag where I see what weird things I can play world doctors from. A small MP3 player, a Hello Kitty flip phone, A VHS TAPE. I HAVE IT ON A VHS TAPE.

 I'm really extroverted but I only have a couple friends in my state. If you're in your 20s or 30s and AREN'T a dry texter, dm me!! I don't like discord btw. I'd rather just chat with people from SpaceHey ON SpaceHey. Just my personal preference.

 My favorite console is GameCube, but I tend to play handhelds more. By that I mean I play Wild World on my DS and Bustin' Out on my GBA.
I loveeee Pikmin 2 and the first 2 Paper Mario games but carrying my games around is just more convenient.

I also have a tendency to bed rot when I get zoned out on my phone or playing games, so I will often set timers and get up to do a short workout every now and then. It's been so helpful for me to keep moving, also because my job takes a lot of energy so I try to stay active. Plus I'd love to straight up be SWOLE but my diet is straight garbage so we all know that won't happen. Womp womp.

 I'm learning Chinese! Very slowly! I can say a handful of pretty basic things, but I can't type them out on my laptop lol. I have a Chinese keyboard on my phone tho.

I'm trying to think of more stuff to add here but my brain is mushhhhhh. Imma go do my lil workout while I watch a movie I thrifted recently. I might charge up my Tamagotchi uni too since I haven't used it in a few months!!
