Okay soo.. im just as socially awkward as this guy<\33 but weve never talked and like hes kinda(really) nerdy, but so am i. Hes like the kind that gets bullied for everything— and i think hes super cute and hes my type, but im scared he would think im making fun of him if i asked for his number :( but hes also a senior and im a sophomore… (which i have no problemo with!))
Any suggestions??

Do you have any common interests that you know of? My social anxiety used to be crazy when I was a teenager and for me, the easiest way to talk to someone new was to find a way to compliment them on something you have a shared interest in.
For example, if he draws, tell him you like his art. If he has a band/singer on his shirt that you recognize, tell him you like his shirt and talk about a song/album you like from that artist.
He might also appreciate it if you can get enough courage to just say that he seems cool and you wanna get to know him or something like that but I KNOWWW how hard that is when you're kinda awkward. For me, it's super flattering when someone tell me something like that. If you can manage to find something you both like right off the bat tho, it makes actually talking easier too because then you know where to start.
