My odd top 5 :
1. Going through old photos and videos, realizing how quickly time passes
2. Reminiscing out of nowhere
3. The last days of summer when everything feels golden and dreamy
4. Finding something you‘d completely forgotten about and all the memories that come rushing back with it
5. Looking at your loved ones and realizing just how much you cherish their presence

- 1: Using old VHS and digital cameras in public spaces but using them in the way that they were actually being used widespread. Just, well, recording anything. Randomly. It's actually pretty fun when you do so! Be aware people might not like it when you record them, so try and sway your camera away from people unless it's expected to be a recorded event.
- 2: Reminiscing out of nowhere, just like the post creator here. I remember one time I was sitting at my computer, trying to type a powerpoint up for my own entertainment, and I randomly remembered that the RMS Titanic was REDONKULOUSLY big.
- 3: Going through old photo collages that my late Grandpa and Grandma put together of me and my family and other family members. I also have a few thumbdrives/USBs from like the mid-2000s of my parents' wedding (the wedding photographer did them dirty and then dipped. Bad photos sadly.) as well as stuff up to about early 2010s, about 2013 or so.
- 4: The beginning of Spring and the end of Summer where the sun rays from the sun rising/sun setting are BRILLIANT. And, if there's an unfortunate wildfire nearby, it makes the Sun rays far more spectacular in the face of devastation & destruction. I captured a photograph once of a big, bright, orange-red ball in the morning sky (the Sun), the fire smoke and clouds making it so it made the colors more vibrant when I was at my school. Honestly: big props to the Sun for giving me that view, for realsies. It looks like a Nuclear Warhead had just dropped, but like, on those 1950s Film cameras. Vibrant, gorgeous, and horror-inducing.
- 5: And finally, same as the post creator's last one. It's always amazing how caring people can be for each other, even if there can be arguments or fights from time to time. As long as what you feel is true and definite, it makes it worthwhile even if there'll be pain in some sort of end.
Oh wow you write so beautifully. You really drew me in. It‘s comforting to know there are people who feel the same way I do Thanks for opening up and sharing that - It really means a lot
