After a bit of a break I have gotten back to playing Tomb Raider 2. I just completed the snow level with the snowmobiles and honestly it felt like a big step up from the previous level (and the other underwater boat levels), those levels had interesting sections but so much time was spent wandering back and forth through large uninteresting areas with far too many human enemy encounters and very few actual fun setpieces (not to mention underwater combat isn't very fun in this game). The snow level on the other hand had a crazy amount of interesting moments and setpieces, the snowmobile was fun to drive about and was a good change of pace, if a bit janky, and there were more non-human enemy encounters. I also have a bit of a bias towards this particular snowy aesthetic. The small amount I've seen of the next area has me hopefull this step up in quality continues.
I've also begun making progress on my Vintage Story world again, watching the end of RubixRaptors series on the game has motivated me to really start expanding my home base.
besides that this week I have slightly improved the look of my Spacehey page, and made a few very minor alterations to my website (I'm still very amateurish with HTML). I'm gonna start doing weekly update on stuff I've been doing on here, just to help keep myself productive.

I remember playing stuff like the 3rd Tomb Raider on PS1 demo discs as a child in the late 90s/early 2000s.
