We NEED to come back with physical media.

Physical media disappeared a while ago, that's a fact. People prefer to subscribe to a streaming service than go to a rental store and rent a movie, also because it's more practical. They prefer to go to Spotify or YouTube and put on the music they want instead of buying a record or a CD. But there's not much emotion in that. I didn't live in the 2000s, but I'm absolutely sure it was MUCH better to rent a movie and then watch it on a weekend with friends than just put on any movie on the internet whenever and wherever you want. Teenagers today miss something they never experienced, they feel nostalgia, and that happens to me too. When I was little, they still used DVDs, and I literally had a PILE of Barbie movies... It was all so good. And not that streaming and the lack of physical media have ruined everything, of course not, nowadays it's clearly more practical, but... It seems like there's a lack of emotion in things. My dream is to have a record player to buy vinyl records of gothic music, the vibe must be wonderful.

Everything vintage amazes me. Cameras are also a great example, they hold memories, and a physical camera is much cooler and more fun than a cell phone. You can print the photos, turn that captured moment into a physical image, it's VERY COOL. On a cell phone, it's kind of boring. You can take pictures all the time, but... Taking an actual physical camera to record the moment is more interesting. I don't know how to explain it, but I think you get it.

And I don't want to experience that just for the vibe... Obviously it's not just that, it's the fact that you have physical proof of something you like. The cover of a CD, a cassette tape with songs you love to listen to, all these things are physical artifacts that represent what you're seeing, hearing, what you like. And for me it's something VERY meaningful. So, I think we should go back to all of that. And get off the screens and cell phones a bit more, walk around the city a bit, see magazines, read, listen to music on a vinyl record or take a photo with a old camera. Just live, in general.
