mosaics

whenever i feel like i have nothing to listen to in terms of music, i usually look at my friends playlists and what they're listening to. and so i looked through one named "unskippable september." i saw a song from a local band i recommended to her and some songs that she found through a mixtape i made her. i dunno why but it really got to me.

there's a tumblr post that goes something along the lines of "i am a mosaic of everyone i've ever loved." and i think that this is just that idea in action. i love knowing about the impact i have on this world when it's easy to dismiss it with cosmic nihilism.
