Kalopsia

"Kalopsia is a term of Greek origin meaning the delusion that things appear more beautiful than they really are."

Kalopsia...

Maybe I might be kalopsic... on some point. Every time I see the details, story, or something that can make a work appear more wonderful or astonishing, it makes me see those from a different perspective. Like... rainbows! unicorns! flowers! and other more!

Life can be wonderful (sometimes), you just have to take it from a different perspective, where you can see the dreadful sights in rose-tinted glasses. However, I am not encouraging ignorance for those who suffer in a terrible condition. I hope you understand where I'm getting at.

Imagine you draw a simple artwork from memory, without reference or whatsoever. Yet, it appears beautiful to you than those who are... well... a professional artist. Yet you don't care; all that matters most is that you appreciate something that originates from you...

...and being deeply in love with someone makes me see them through rose-tinted glasses, filtering their flaws, and accepting who they really are. Beauty is subjective, since everyone has their own set of standards. It justifies that love and beauty can be the same thing in the same situation, looking at it with your eyes— it changes.

This was interesting to read, and I agree.
Kind of reminds me of Minecraft forever worlds - you create and build a whole bunch of random stuff, and to others it may look out of place, but to you it's a memory.
