okay cause i wanted to use spacehey like wayyyy more, I really needed a way to make it more convenient, and the app is.............nice, but like not convenient enough UI wise rn tbh so i barely use it, and spacehey mobile-ly for that matter. that was the case UNTIL, i discovered via instructions from eplisus to make their site into a Chrome shortcut, which worked insanely well and was basically a mobile version of their site, then i thoughtΒ

then I did and OMG, yall its great, I can get on spacehey sm now thanks to this just LOOOOK
looks just like an app icon so its not crazy jarring if youre worried about that sorta thing
the overall layout feels like its a mini website
profiles look wayyyy betterΒ
and everything is actually accessible!
Although everything loads as slow as a website like spacehey would, it's essentially the easiest access to the entire site compared to the app. Now, again, the app is fine, ik it has a lot to be added, but it just aint working for me as well as I wish it would, so this is the 2nd best thing for me lolz.
if you want a tut on how to do this for iphone(because unfortunately its been so long since Ive had an andriod, idk WHAT the os looks, and works like now), here you go! (sorry for bad typing my phone was highkey lagging lmfao)
you might have to full-screen this to see it better since I recorded in portrait mode xd
β Β β disclaimer, you might have to be sure you're logged in on spacehey in chrome, and ensure it remembers youre log info so you can actuallly be logged in when you use the bookmark!!β Β β

yesss ive been using firefox on my android, i wonder if i can make it a shortcut as well. in a way i like how limiting the app is because it typically means i have to get out my laptop and make the internet a place i go to as opposed to something that follows me around. butttt in practice, it's rather annoying that you can't even check notifications except messages and friend requests on the app
Rightt, I feel the same way about the limits on the app as far as getting me out of my normal social media app routine, but since I barely get messages on here, I usually want to just go look at the blog&forum stuff, andd because I usually get home from school and dont pull out my laptop after looking at assignments all day, this is like best thing i can do to actually stay a little more active LOL
