Art Recap || 2025 September/October

hey hey hey... this is my first time making a spacehey blog to recap my artowrk, and my second time doing an art recap ever! (the first recap ever being on my toyhouse bulletin of all the artwork i made and received during artfight 2025 – sorry, gotta plug that because it took an entire afternoon to format that post...) at first, i thought i'd just recap all the art i made from oct. 2025 alone, but then i checked how much art i made during that month and grew very pale, so i've decided to let september and august join the sleepover to buff up my numbers.

anyway, since i typically post my art inconsistently across the platforms i use, i thought it'd be nice to consolidate as much work as i can into a single blog. i'll be nabbing as many individual artworks i can find and am willing to share, which shoulddd be mooosttt of them? the only thing you'll absolutely miss out on seeing are a majority of my sketchbook pages, since i usually post them to my instagram account in bulk and don't wanna prep them for my blog. anyway, without further ado:

artist's comments: this drawing was made using "evil mode" in ms paint. it's evil because you can't zoom in while you use it or else your file crashes. i've known this since 2018 and nothing's changed, which is why it's not surprising that this mode is not present in windows 11 ms paint. i've yet to upgrade my computer OS but when i do i will promptly redownload windows 7 ms paint even if she crashes. nobody's perfect <3

artist's comments: same story as above. this drawing did NOT want me to complete it because it kept slinging a weird bug in ms paint where you only get a fraction of undos compared to normal. unsure if this is actually a case of you losing your undo capacity, or if my actions were somehow duplicated in the program history or something along that track... (i find a lot of bugs in ms paint)

artist's comments: same story as above. this was a followup attempt at making stained glass-style art in ms paint, because this is kemonomimi jesus and jesus deserves the best artwork. YES superlove! sugarnyan~ is that serious. who do you think i made a church in roblox for.

artist's comments: same story as above. (THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL SAY THAT!!!) i wish these were high enough quality to actually get printed out as stickers, because i have been informed the sale of these kawaii sticker-chans would increase my checking account total by at least $50.

artist's comments: a skin concept i designed for soulvester to make him look like nightmare moon from my little pony. the fact he didn't get a hype moments and aura skin makes me mad!!!!!

artist's comments: this was probably my first high-effort piece in a sketchbook EVER. i used a highlighter to draw some guidelines, then went straight to making lineart. i colored this almost exclusively with pens, too. B)

artist's comments: TECHNICALLY. THIS IS NOT THE FINISHED PICTURE. but this was started over a month ago and i currently don't have plans to go finish it up all the way. i like this version of the drawing just fine, anyway!!! i drew the guidelines with the same highlighter as before, but also used it to color the fins. the rest of it i exclusively used pens on! i think.

artist's comments: the first proper drawing i made in my current sketchbook!!! i sketched this one using colored pencils, and used a mix of colored pencils and pens to color the piece. i also used some weird ass outline pens for detailing. the outline pens in question, like, dispense both a color and liquid glitter?! and the glitter displaces the color such that the color outlines the glitter. they're very strong, but cool to use regardless.

artist's comments: ok this is here because i started it in october and it was mostly done before november and i completed it before making this so its going here. this piece was a huge experimentation using a brand new pen i got and trying to use my colored pencils further. i spent a lot of time on the lineart and even longer on the coloring... but it was a good chance to get comfy using the colored pencils this heavy.

artist's comments: toast and the gang makes me very happy. even though there's nothing explicit about him, it is still weird to see toast naked. the monsterous design ideas are pretty cool, though. i really like piper's.

artist's comments: when i don't know what to draw, i draw that fucking cat. isn't it cute? i even drew millie, too!!! she has such a fun head to draw. the ears, the hair, the lovable face... perfect.

artist's comments: i doodled these while watching 'the summer hikaru died' with my friends. some ximo, some random starlet, and some signatures i exaggerated based off one of the signatures i use.

artist's comments: this is my OC, giggles. she is like, the only OC i own whose merit stands entirely on her street cred. no story, nothing going on, just vibes. i draw her in various scenarios for the entertainment of my friends and so i can use these drawings for stupid shit at a later date.

artist's comments: this canvas was a big ole brush test page for clip studio. i had a bunch of brushes i needed to add to my toolbar........... which i realize didn't save the brushes i added because i had the power in my room go out and didn't update my workspace before that happened.... fuuuckkkk this is a bad time to realize that

artist's comments: same story as above, but i really wanted to try out a couple specific brushes further. the brush i used for the lineart is really scratchy and a little hard to control the line width of while drawing, but i am super into the way it looks anyway.

artist's comments: ximo is so fucking drawable. i love drawing ximo. anyone could draw ximo. everyone should draw ximo. and hi millie, or, i guess i called her vanilla-san in this picture. same difference. i like drawing her with really big eyes because it's cute/charming/funny/etc.

artist's comments: my friend posted pictures of looey and yatta fused together and i found them quite cuutteee, so i drew out what they looked like in my mind. and then i drew looey dying because twisted looey scares me

artist's comments: damn i was on a roll oct. 26th i guess?! this is more use of that one finnicky-width brush because it was fun to doodle with it. i used another brush i had to block out shapes and drew whatever, then went back with another brush to add more color in places it felt necessary

artist's comments: more drawing of the aforementioned character i got. the character's design is sooo cute, but it's one of those designs that i could not possibly draw well in the form it was originally presented to me, so i was playing around with shapes and design stylizations to get more comfortable with drawing it. admittedly still not quite there, but i can SMELL the potential with it...

this is ALMOST!!! the END!!!! how exciting. there's like a couple more things i felt like sharing tho...

well, that's the end of the artwork! it was a little hard to decide what i wanted to include or not because i do a lot of random art shit and squirrel the photos away in corners for me to never. find. again. but i'm pretty happy with all i could procure and show off in this blog ^_^ and i'm very excited-slash-hopeful to make another recap blog for november's artwork! if that doesn't come out in the first week of december, though, assume i decided to make a combo post for nov/dec like i did here for sept/oct.

as of posting this, all the images and links seem to be working in this blog. if that is no longer the case for certain artworks, PLEASE let me know so i can fix it!!!
