Let's talk about Lyn-Z?

Lyn-Z, or Lindsey Way, is the former bassist of the very controversial band Mindless Self Indulgence. and for some godawful reason, everyone HATES. HER. GUTS. Especially the My Chemical Romance fandom, which is really odd to me, because she's literally MARRIED to Gerard Way.  

Admittedly, being in a band that sings about some of the things that MSI has does not particularly bode well for your public image nowadays, but back when the band was founded, having shocking and controversial lyrics was not at all uncommon, nor is it always a direct reflection of the band members' opinions. Out of the whole band, Lindsey is arguably the LEAST problematic. The problem with her is that she married Gerard, and all of a sudden, everyone is out to get her. It's half jealousy, half misogyny, and one drop of truth in the vast ocean of rumors.

Blogs like lynzuglyliar started to pop up, and did WAY more damage than good by just stirring the pot. They started acting like she was some evil witch who trapped Gerard in a marriage with her and not someone who is literally just a normal human being getting tomatoes thrown at her for daring to fall in love. It's all insane to me because these fans will then turn around and praise Gerard Way like a saint. He was just as much a friend to Jimmy Urine and a supporter of MSI as she was. It doesn't make either of them horrible people. Just regular ones. 

All the terrible rumors about Lindsey just make me sad. Imagine Bandit stumbling across some stupid hate blog about her mom. Imagine a whole community seeing an unfounded rumor about you and taking it and running. Now everyone believes that about you. I just love her aughhh :( \
