so tired of modern fashion ;-;

modern fashion SUCKS and heres why:

1. its completely colourless and bland. if you're lucky, you might find cute clothes in your price range that are actually appealing. i don't have anything against grey or beige, but when EVERYTHING in stores is grey its exhausting. why is it that i have to go thrifting to find anything with even the slightest colour? when i go to thrift stores they're full of colour, but when i go to firsthand shops everything is so bland and usually super low quality (which is a whole different topic i'll get to)

2. EVERYTHING is poor quality! this has become especially popular since shein became a huge thing, where they spend less money on actual quality resources and sell for the same price. i'd say it'd be better to shop on shein, but shein supports things i do NOT agree with at all so i won't say that! but still, we've got to a day and age where everything made with genuine quality and love is only found in small businesses.

3. individuality is a modern "fashion crime". why? i have no clue. it seems that EVERY store sells the same items, all in the same colours. everyone dresses the same nowadays, at least the general audience does. dressing "weird" makes you seen as an outcast or a weirdo. all clothes look so miserable, just like the state of the world.

4. clothes are soo uninspired!!! nowadays the most trendy clothes are baggy, oversized, 'comfy'. when in reality it just feels like wearing a TENT!! not only is it ugly, its all wrinkly and boring. fashion designers are getting lazy, feeding lazy clients who want to follow the latest trends and never expand their fashion tastes to be individualistic. everyone follows trends, which get more and more minimalistic over the years.

millennials have LONG overstayed their reach on the fashion industry - its time for younger gen z to take over! i for one am sick and tired of being fed the most shapeless, potato sack looking clothes. i know a lot of gen z contributes to these HIDEOUS trends, but a lot of us dress alternatively as well, at least from what ive seen on the internet.

if it would help, save the world from these HORRIBLE fashion choices we're all seeming to make, i'd become a fashion designer and make stuff with actual shape and colour. stuff that'll compliment a woman's natural body, no matter how her curves look. something comfortable BUT STYLISH!!
