Cool things I did with Troma.. Smaller Blog

Note - After reading on this blog I realize I come off as deranged and unfocused,, sorry bout that!!!

In a semi brag thing I would like to do, I would like to talk about my idols of filmmaking and overall creativity - I was an extra in a Troma movie. Better yet, I met the big lloydy himself in person.. and gave him a cool drawing.

For context, I've been an Toxic Avenger fan since maybe 13 years old, 2022 or 2023, which is pretty cool!

So, when I was exploring the Instagrams of tromas official website sometime in November, a certain story caught my eye.. an extra opportunity in Santa Cruz, only an hour or so away!!

That was fucking awesome, and so of course I went. I was more than happy to!!

I had my toxic avenger " I <3 the Monster Hero" shirt and everything, dressed for the occasion. for context, this was an opportunity to be a background extra in Poultrygeist 2 Dawn of the Chicken Dead, directed by Mercedes the Muse, and I hadn't watched the first one until a day or so later.]

(it used to be called " The Henpire Strikes Back, maybe star wars got a lil bitchy, oh well.) 

Anyways, I had a blast. I even got a prop hat !! I had a great ass time.

if it was only this I would've been static.. me, in a tromas flick?? dope..

so to top THAT experience, later I found out another amazing opportunity.

Lloyd fucking Kaufman. in Santa Cruz.

I even came out in his No Kings protest video !! it should be on his insta

so yeah, I gave him a cool drawing with a letter to how much I appreciate tromas, he called me talented, I got a bunch a shit signed and he seemed to be really cool and I loved it !!

(possibly sometime in the future I'll write to them with a script.. would be a dream.)

Moral of the story?? look for local film productions, you could be an extra and its really fun (unless ur working with Kubrick or some shit.)
