every once in a while, i see ppl who are genuinely so cool that i wonder, "how can i even talk to them?". idk, how can someone be so good? god does have his favorites because wdym a few ppl can get other ppl to like them just by the energy they bring into the room.
i've tried alot to be different but then, i lack somewhere that no matter how much i try, i won't be ever able to catch someone's eye. maybe because i smile too much that everyone thinks i'm too easy. maybe my voice is not that attractive that i get cut off by other people speaking over me. maybe i'm too much flawed that i don't have any importance. maybe my hardwork is not enough for me to get to that no.1 position in anything I try and i always have to be second.
but what if i'm the exact opposite in an alternate universe? somewhere where i'm everything i'm not here?
i hope i'm one of the cool kids.
i hope i atleast get a glance of that alternate world before this world ends.

hey, you're plenty cool!!! and honestly, "coolness" is subjective. you just gotta be yourself my goat. never let the haters take over your thoughts.
it's not even haters, it's always the self-deprecating thoughts because whenever you go out, there's always someone so good at something you've been trying to do for years. like, you push the thoughts away, then go "damn, how did she get that thing done so easily-"

hmmm yeah, i get what you feel. it really does suck because sometimes people are just naturally talented???? and like, it's not like they're a one trick pony, they're actually really good sometimes.
but then again, you worked hard to build your personality and talents! people don;t have to like you just because you're good at something or because you do something better than anyone else. the people you surround yourself with really matter!

yeah right. but yk, when you don't fit into the standards, you get terribly outed in this country. everyone says, "be yourself. be unique" and when someone is, they get bashed. sucks.

we always manage to find "our" people, yk? and it's true that people bash anyone who's different than the perceived expectation of normal (cough being alt cough) but after a point, you might develop a thick enough skin. because ultimately, you gotta prioritize your happiness, not whatever shit the general public tries to choke us with

"being cool" is subjective. youll find people cool because theres things YOU find cool in them.
maybe you have a chance because they also think you're cool! but i do get that "feeling cool" is not an easy task to do. once you feel cool with yourself, then you'll truly be cool
