traveling journal

i’ve always loved the idea of having a penpal or sending postcards to random people around the world. there’s something so meaningful about connecting with someone through handwritten letters, but i’ve just never gotten around to actually doing it.

lately, i’ve been seeing a lot of people on tiktok doing something called the “sisterhood traveling journal.”(i think that's what it was called) it’s kind of like exchanging postcards, but instead of sending short messages, it’s a shared journal that travels from person to person. everyone adds their own entries, drawings, photos, or little glimpses of their life before passing it along to the next person.

i really love that concept. it feels like such a creative and personal way to connect with others. it would be so fun to flip through the pages and see all the different styles, handwriting, and stories people from around the world have added. imagine having a whole collection of journals filled with love, creativity, and memories from people with different backgrounds, interests, and perspectives.

i’d love to try it one day once my schedule starts to clear  up. it just seems like such a beautiful way to share and connect.
