Hunting

Same as you go to the store to by your meat I go out and choose to harvest mine. That doesn’t make me heartless. No I thank the lord every time I am given the opportunity to bring a harvest home for my family. 

I enjoy sharing my stories I enjoy sharing my photos I understand in today’s society this is almost impossible to be understood but let me just break this down for you.

You go to the store and you buy yourself all the meat needed to fill your freezer. How much do you believe you are spending on the meat per pound? Let’s say it cost you close to 50 to fill your freezer. How much meat did you get? Maybe 20 lbs possibly 30? That deer I harvest can bring me 120 to 200 lbs in meat and that just one deer. When you can look at the full picture you can see maybe appreciate why I am a hunter. My hunt license and tags total cost me 85 this year. That wasn’t just for deer but that included bear turkey and all small game animals. 

Please know now that even though I hunt these animals doesn’t mean that I don’t have a heart for them because you sir or ma’am are going to be sadly wrong. I have an believable amount of compassion for the animals I harvest. Thank you god for giving me that blessing and opportunity to provide for my family always.
