so, recently i came across some news, regarding spacehey, and my school. and this news, was incredibly DEVISTATING.
my school, like many others, has their own internet service, the doe Guest one, and with that wifi network, you're basically forbidden from many websites that have to do with social media or anything of the sort, which SUCKS. but makes sense. until you concider this exception, this INCREDIBLY, UNFAIR, Acception.
the school permits usage of instagram on every device connected to the DOE guest website.
this is because the school actively uses an instagram account to post updates about the school and any event accociated with it. so, this would be good right? NO! ITS FUCKINGGG BIASSED
SO MANY KIDS I KNOW IN THIS SCHOOL USE INSTAGRAM FOR THIS SOLE REASON< YOU"RE NOT GETTING RID OF JACK SHIT JUST BY BANNING PHONES< BECAUSE IF STUDENTS CAN STILL USE SCHOOL COMPUTERS, WHATSSS THE POINT???? I HATEE THIS CHUDDD SCHOOL BRO IYGHGFHFDHTGYHBVGFDCGFTFRDESFGVHYTFRDFCVBHYUGTFRCVBMHYTFRCV
so now, my solution is to not follow the school pounch policy, and i keep my phone in my bag. do i use it in every class? NO! mainly just in lunch. aka my graphic arts teachers classroom in the back of the class.
i have to use my hotspot nowdays in order to even be able to accsess spacehey during school hours to write on my blog or edit things. im so mad about this dude im gonna kill someone

i dont understand the point of banning phones. like yea if kids arnt paying attention or like doing something bad with the phones then teachers should take it away, but otherwise, i feel like kids should just be allowed to keep their phones in their pockets. also i like listening to music while i work because sometimes class is really loud and its hard to focus with all the noise, but if i block it out with the noise of music it helps me to focus (also makes school less boring) but without my phone i cant do that !!!
istg schools are doing everything in their power to make school an even more insufferable place for students to be in

ive always listened to music in class and all throughout school because its basically a stress reliever at that point, and ive had to compromise with having an mp3 player. i actually plan on ordering a new one today! might write a blog abt it :3
