dude, SHARKS

today i learned just how OLD sharks are as a species there are so many things that are a blip on the scale of sharks (420 to 450 million years), such as:

• Saturns Rings (between 100 and 400 million years)
• THE NORTH STAR (~70 million years)
• a galactic rotation of the sun (~230 million years, so technically they're about 2 galactic years old)
• trees (~385 million years)
• the rocky mountains (75 million years)
• the Atlantic Ocean (~200 million years)

Basically sharks are old and really cool and a little stupid (in a cute way.)
