Late Night thought

Okay okay one more thing before I sign off for the night for real, (because I'm having way too much fun looking through this site before I actually get off).

I was looking through old pictures and videos of myself before I moved to a whole new state and practically left my whole life behind to start a new. It's funny how much things can change in a year, one year ago today I was creating more art at a more frequent pace than I had in years, I had just started to get myself into my local art scene and sell my work. I was expanding in places I had only dreamt about expanding on for years, finally I had to balls and resources to put myself out there. I was making good enough money from my traditional job and my art that I felt good enough to start saving and taking care of myself. Only for everything I was so happy to finally attain, to finally find that community, to be ripped away from me. I felt like I was at my happiest and starting to be the most fulfilled I had ever been. Now, one year later, I'm in a new place, which isn't the worst thing. The worst thing to me was that two weeks into living in a whole new place my life, my actual being almost got taken from me in a car crash, leaving the only form of transportation I had completely gone. Now taking public transportation isn't new to me and I'm not someone who feels they're above using it, in fact a bus outlet is just down the road from me. It's the fact that afterwards, after everything happened, after my injuries (that could have been much worse) had come and altered my body for life, after my convenient way out of the small apartment I share with my boyfriend and three other bodies was taken, it was like everything after that was seemingly cursed for me. In the late days of the 1st month of this year I was severed from my job, I then left for a new state. After months and months, hundreds upon hundreds of job applications sent in, 6 months later I still have nothing. No car, a weaker body, and a strained and small form of income, I grieve for the life I had everyday. I try to make the best of what I have, but sometimes it feels like nothing. Slowly but surely things have started to come back together for me, but the fact of everything going the way I finally wanted it to go just for everything to change almost instantly is a lesson that was thrown at me for some reason. Maybe to be more secure with myself with no distractions, a lesson to learn something new about myself, to slow down, whatever the lesson may be I'm keeping my head up. Even with the way everything worked out this year and even with the way I feel when I look back, good or bad. It's insane how quick things can change for a person in the blink of an eye.
