hi music recs of things i've listened to this week yesss yess yess

hi!! since the week is ending i thought to give some opinions on things I've heard this week! yah!. this week has been honestly PACKED with good stuff and i wanna share so much about the music I've heard 

i listened to a total of 5!! albums this week!!! so cool am i right!
Albums I've listened to:
Animal Collective - Feels, Merriweather Post Pavilion
The Weeknd - House of Balloons
Lil Ugly Mane - VOLCANIC BIRD ENEMY AND THE VOICED CONCERN
Pavement - Brighten the Corners
- I gave 2 of these albums a 10/10 (i'm very easy to please LOLOL) those being Merriweather and VOLCANIC BIRD ENEMY, give them a listen, they're really good!

I've already listened to some of Animal's Collective's work (Spirits they've gone, Spirits they've Vanished is so good), but what really made me fell in love with them was Merriweather Post Pavilion, It's such a good piece of work, it's so explosive and groovy at the same time :eyes:
As for Feels, it's an amazing album too, with soft melodies and AAAAAAAAAAGH. I will probably do a deep dive on Animal Collective next week because I just can't get enough of them -- go give them a try!

As for The Weeknd, I don't really know how i feel about House of Balloons. I like the album, don't get me wrong, but it just didn't stick to me that well. I felt bored in some places and sometimes the lyricism just took me out of it -- nevertheless a good listen, would recommend (7.5/10 don't beat me up)

The Lil Ugly Mane album is amazing end review

Brighten the corner is peak indie rock, nice guitars with some laid back production, and oh my god oh her god oh his god (maybe I just love Stephen Malkmus's voice, I don't know why but it is so calming to me.) go listen pls they made harness your hopes and it's a b-side of this album
