I know what you are saying, "Oh, Gabby, you dumb idiot! Cap'n Jazz is super popular and influential to Midwest emo." Well, yes. But not everyone listens to emo. I myself didn't listen to emo until like a year ago. 

Cap'n Jazz is a good band. If you've never heard ANALPHABETAPOLOTHOLOGY, I implore you to listen. It's long because it's everything they recorded. 

This song is about looking back at the person you used to be, and knowing that even if you don't like that person, it is still you.
