RANKING MY FAV SANRIO CHARACTERS!!

1. ALOHALFREDO: he is kinda obscure as a starter,,, but he is a funky fun dude. he was created in 1986 as an attempt to market towards an ""adult"" audience - hence his swaggy outfit and (presumably) alcoholic beverage. I love him because of his eyesore monochrome color scheme of bright ass yellow. I rate him a solid 8/10

2. kuromi: basic, but let's be real - it's for valid reason. she is a pink gothic queen who has a fab wardrobe. who could dislike her, truly? an icon. she is not my favorite design, but i do admire her for her sheer beauty. solid 6/10

3. jive express: another (sorta) obscure set of boys. they are some beautiful linework fishies that are multicolored. they were made in collaboration with POP TEAM EPIC, who makes a lot of stationary (from what i've read). I love these funky (jivey, perhaps) dudes and i want their stationary. 10/10

4. pandapple: fuck what can i say about this adorable creature??? pandapple exudes an adorable kidcore energy that scratches an itch in the back of my brain. teh bright red apple is his centerpiece and he is my everything. i plan to get a tattoo of this character at some point. pandapple ascends all. easy 12/10

5. spottie dottie: she is the one to re-introduce me to my sanrio obsession a few years ago, because she was a favorite of mine as a kid. i got some of her stuff from goodwill as a kid and she is just adorable. i love her funky linework and her weird form, as well as her cat friend. however!! there is art of her that is official of her standing up on her legs and walking, and that shit is scary. i am deducting points for this sin, so she is a 7/10

6.badtz maru: i had a watch of this penguin icon from mcdonalds n i wore it at school and it broke. very depressing but i also have a plush of him that was originally $15 but i got it for 1 cent. long story short the cashier fucked up my clearance stuff and it all showed as 1 cent,,, and she told me she didnt want to fix it and i ended up getting a brand new sanrio plush for a cent because the cashier was lazy. it sounds fake im aware. but i have many witnesses and it was iconic. i will also get him tatted on me at some point. 9/10

7. darkgrapemann: leaving this on a banger - the kamen rider character parody sidekick named darkgrapemann. he has been a personal favorite for a long time (as ichigoman is the counterpart), and he has an awesome color scheme. a lot of hello kitty merch at hot topic currently uses the darkgrapemann color pallet, and i seem to be the only one who has noticed. i love him and he holds my heart. 10/10

alright, that'll sum it up!!! i have many favorites but this'll be it for now!! it's getting late at niteee so i gotta slep soon! i hope ya'll enjoy my very accurate and true opinions of these characters.
