reminder

A painful reminder to my future self to avoid disappointment:

Maybe you are not wanted where you run with excitement. People can "change," as you put it, by distancing themselves from you for no reason, without you even noticing. But you don't know what they're going through, or why they're behaving this way. You're not God; you can't know everything. Maybe their dreams, maybe their ideas, have changed. It's not like someone who enters your life will stay there forever. Even you've changed, and you're still changing. Don't poison your already bad life with your own thoughts by harboring ridiculous fantasies.
