Happy all Hallows' day everyone! how was your Halloween? whether you went trick-or-treating in your finest costume, had a party with your friends and family for the night, or even if you didn't really celebrate Halloween, we are all exhausted from yesterday. Here's hoping everyone can get some rest (Note: if you are from Mexico i wish you a happy Dia de los Muertos!!!)
I always loved Halloween as a kid, even though I never got to celebrate it. haloween originally began in Eire so its important to me in a heritage sense but its also the wonderful feeling of community it brings. even though i dotn see Halloween as strongly celebrated (kids are too cool for costumes and beign spooky nowdays and adults leaving bowls of treats outside of their not-so-decorative household which then gets dumped into the bag of the first kid who sees it) it still brings a sense of livelines to even the most dead towns and estates. its lovely seeing friends get together and wander the houses, strangers smiles as they hand out sweets and compliment childrens costumes, the stunning fireworks everyone gathers around to see.
welp, thats enough ranting from me! heres a dawing of my ocs celebrating halloween as a final treat for the spooky month! thank you for being here, and have a good day evening and night!
