Ahem. i was planning on doing this monthly thing with my (now-ex) boyfriend, but things evidently did not work out lmao.  so I'm turning to this! here are the main things i have been enjoying in the month of October. . . mostly :)

Pokémon: Ultra Sun&Moon

   been HUGE into Pokémon as a whole for a while now, but I'll dive more into that later down the list ^_* it is deteriorating my brain juuusst a little ߹𖥦߹

I might eventually do a meet my team blog !!!! but for now, here is my beautiful starter:

 Primarina ───୨ৎ───  

nicknamed Lazuli !! 🫧⋆｡˚ after lapis-lazuli, the gemstone & water-gem from stevenuniverse. Currently at level 91 💧

   also he is a boy !! I don't pay much attention to the genders of Pokémon; but i think there is something very endearing about it being so feminine and graceful & also male. Hehe it upsets a lot of annoying fans so i will EMBRACE it.

overall I've been super pooper obsessed with gen7 as a whole. I LOVE Lillie ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°｡ the sun&moon cast in their entirety are so dear to me. Waah

Yo-Kai Watch

highly recommend if you're a fan of creature-collector games ^D^ it has similar vibes to Pokémon but still entirely its own thing! the battle mechanics especially are so very cool

awesome burger game •⩊•  ♡       so excited to play the sequels at some point eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times

omg... usually not big on the vast majority of games so constantly compared to animal crossing-- but woah!? this one RULES? 

the character design is SO EPIC >_<! The art style is so special & the world is so immersive. it carries the same vibes as wild world while still remaining entirely its own thing; with the main addition being magic :3c the different characters are so LOVEABLE & unique. I recommend this game so heavily. . . . please please pretty please give it a shot 

  ☆ the dialogue and social engineering aspects as a whole are so very good. again, it has the same charm as wild world for sure. You can also romance characters! which is so cool imo!

I believe those are the main games that stuck out to me this month! ★

i've also been playing a fair amount of Pokemon X&Y but I have yet to reach the ending, so perhaps that will be on next month's recap (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)

shows & movies:

A Silent Voice

To me, this was one of those movies where like. . . within the first 15 minutes you already know this is gonna be a new favorite. this film has BURROWED ITSELF DEEP INTO MY SOUL

so very bittersweet and beautiful>_< I don't think I'll ever fully move on from this truly...

this one threw me for a LOOP. what seemed to be your pretty average body-swap plot turned out to be much more >_< and the animation is absolutely GORGEOUS duh

The Promised Neverland

ouh don't get me started... (talking about the first season specifically.) 

binged the entirety of it in two days while I was sick in bed >_< such a genuinely phenomenal anime I'm DECEASED. Not a single boring episode, truly. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I LOVED every second  ( ^ ᴗ ^ ) ahem s2 is a little notorious for being not as good but WHO CARES season one had the perfect conclusion to me & i am inlove.  ★

Cat Soup

you know when art is so good it makes you sit back and just think really hard about your appreciation for the human race & how art is such a beautiful thing that makes us whole. Yeah. Idk man sometimes I really be hating humanity, but then projects like these remind me that we can be kinda freaking dope sometimes...

there isn't much of a coherent plot for this one, it's a short watch and i could never fully understand what was going on at any given moment, but like, that's.. the point..? It's so bizarre and odd and outlandish and fucking beautiful!

ahem. . . so because of the aforementioned breakup ™ i haven't been listening to a whole buncha music this month. . . huge anomaly for me (◞‸◟,) . but there are two that have been pretty prominent in my mind:

MOSS PLUSHIE !!!!!!!!!

  Fun Sunny Fact. . .I am so terribly obsessed with Moss from Pikmin 4. BADLY. she is basically my daughter that I birthed myself 

I LOVE HER SO SO SO SO SO MUCH 

so. . . My mom's boyfriend bought me this plushie from Japan that he planned on giving me on Christmas. but. . . evil Evil breakup happened & he figured I needed her now (╥﹏╥) . He was right. She has cured me from all badness 

 (also yes she is kindof ugly but I adore her so deeply it is NOT funny. I would commit crimes for Moss. My beautiful Moss.)

 isn't Zorua just the cutest. . . absolutely one of my favorite Pokémon ♡(˃͈ ˂͈ )

I got this plush with my ADHD-Point reward system - I collect points gained by performing tasks that I find myself struggling with (drinking enough water, taking my meds, general chores etc.) and once I reach a certain amount I get to reward myself with something :) in this case; Zorua !!

why do I need to preface every section with "sorry this is boring but I promise there is usually more" my bad gang. But yeah I have also been in a food slump. BUT;

 Costco Shortbread Cookies. . . mmmfmmfmmmm mmmmmmmmmm      I would absolutely kill for these cookies ouuuuf they are the perfect texture. . .unfortunately my nearest Costco is like an hour drive & I don't have the pleasure of buying them that frequently, sigh. I will savor every crumb
