I've been seeing this around the clock app and instagram recently and its really starting to grind my gears
According to the invalids on tik tok, if youre conventionally attractive and are into nerdy shit, do anything remotely cringe, you've "taken over my hobby" "you bullied me in school for this" "no way my fandom has been taken over by posers"
GOD JUST SAY YOU HATE WOMEN
This personally urks me so much because I am a veteran Five Nights at Freddys fan, I have been in the fandom for 11 years since its release, I have the crappy drawings and the search history to prove it. I was there for Vincent, I was there for it all. And yet, since I like to touch grass sometimes, I don't genuinely give a flying rat fuck if the girl who bullied me in highschool likes fnaf GENUINELY.
AFAB people existing in a fandom space has always been a fucking battle especially if the fandom is male dominated, I would say fnaf is pretty male dominated so no wonder these mouth breathing losers comment awful shit to conventionally attractive afab peoples fnaf costumes calling them "posers".
These are the same people who will complain that "no girls like the same shit im into" but will scream at women who enjoy the shit they like and not start a conversation with them and maybe HELP THEM GET TO KNOW THE FANDOM BETTER in a NICE and RESPECTFUL way.
A NEW PERSON IN A FANDOM SPACE IS A NEW FRIEND TO GIVE INFORMATION TOO

Not sure what this has to do with hating women, the sentiment behind the "you bullied me for liking thing" is simply the oldheads pushing back against the people who did/were likely to hate on the hobby or show no interest in it until it was cool to like it
In the 2000's that's how it was with gaming, a purely nerd thing until around 2006-8 where it got picked up by the same crowd who dunked on it not even 5 years beforehand and thus, many a internet comic was made about "normies" suddenly being jazzed about Halo and CoD and how they're ruining gaming
People will gatekeep when their special thing gets suddenly trendy to like/pretend to like, shrimple
