Another year passes as ween is apon us!
I used to love Halloween as a kid, I was a cosplayer at heart and I loved dressing up and getting candy, the blood, guts and the glory of it all.
But as an adult, I'd say around 17 to now (i'm 21) I havent really been feeling it. I know ive struggled with depression and currently still do (i'm much better now dw :3), but i don't really think that has anything to do with it. I still like to dress up and hang around with friends but it just isn't the same anymore and I kinda get bogged down with how much fun I SHOULD be feeling but im not feeling.
Honestly it's more about the feeling I feel when i dont feel the way I want to be feeling...if that makes any sense? Im pulling together a super shitty closet cosplay of the GOAT Jeff the Killer.
But my heart just ain't into spooky season no more, and that makes me feel even more sad :(

same heerreee. my mom used to decorate, get us candy to pass out, and my brother would walk around with me to get more. (it was even better when i was smaller) now she doesn't live with us and the spirit is GONEEE. not to mention i don't have anyone free to do anything with me
so i really do get it the spirit is gone for me and its bittersweet to see everyone so excited for this year. glad im not alone even if it's different for us.
yeah...:( i miss ween. tonight we are getting the crew together to play mario kart so hopefully my spirit will raise soon, i hope your halloween is relaxing and get yourself a sweet treat :)
