HALO EFFECT

Well, I guess it's not been all bad.  

Light, diffused

suffused

through a clouded lens

gives a rosy stained-glass glow 

to everything

and softens up those edges, eh?

seeing light leak into the dark

(God knows there's enough of that)

might be good

occasionally

although the glare can be a problem. 

I know It'll have to be addressed

eventually

 - before the blindness sets in -

and they can fix that kind of thing now

(one less weakness on the stack)

without taking out your eyeballs. 

Trading visions in the rainbow clouds

for crisp and clear perception.
