Recently my cat has gone missing. My family has genuinely no idea how he could have gotten out, we've searched the house everywhere, went and searched for any of the places outside that he likes going off to when we take the cats out (while me and my mom supervise them, of course.), i've even searched around the neighborhood, holding out food with my sleep ware still on like a crazy person while it was pretty windy outside.
For more context, we have more than one cat, we actually currently have three (after the sad passing of one of my girl cat's sister, rest in peace AJ). For the girl cat that i've mentioned, her name is Thundy, a fluffy female black cat, she's a sweet girl who's seven years old. And as for Bill's brother, his name is Greg, a grey male cat who likes chewing on people's hair, and is 2.5 years old, like his brother, both of them had been very worried about Bill and where he had been. And as for Bill, he is a black tuxedo cat with thick white whiskers and has a lil' mustache and gloves.
I just can't, i can't lose two cats in the same year, i've already lost AJ and i took that really badly. I don't want both of my cat to lose their sibling. I'm honestly surprised that i haven't already done something bad to myself (i'm not planning to, just surprised). And its getting close to Halloween and theres sort of an urban legend of people attacking or harming black cats during that time.
But at least i know that cats are known for having a good survival instinct, so i suppose that makes me feel better. But this guy, he sometimes chases over dogs, big and small and i really hope that he stays safe when it comes to dogs showing up, good thing that about all of the dogs around my neighborhood are on leashes outside.
Please, let my baby be safe and come home to us. Please.
Anyone willing to give me advice for finding him would be amazing, or just a kind word. Thanks for reading this, have a good day/night, love y'all <3

if you or your parents have facebook or insta or anything, see if you can post a missing pet post in a local group. a lot of times cities, towns, and neighborhoods have their own groups on social media where everyone can share happenings and such.
put a used litterbox outside so he smells himself and follows the scent home.
you're sure he didn't find some crack somewhere in the house and get himself stuck? cats can squeeze into the smallest spaces, and sometimes they can't get back out by themselves. check all around inside and outside the house. are there bushes or vines or a wood pile or junk pile or anything he could be hiding in?
i'm so sorry about your baby, and i hope you find him soon. i know the pain and fear of losing a cat outdoors.

this is so sad omg i hope you find him!! i’ve lost a cat before and the only thing you can really do is search for them and put up lost posters. you could definitely check local shelters to see if he maybe got picked up by a stranger and was dropped off there. best of luck finding him!!
