Okay, onto the meat. SPOILERS AHEAD!!
Tron Ares was SO GOOD!! Ares the character? My blorbo, well until the very end where he gets to be a real boy he loses aura HARD, but when he's talking to the program of Kevin Flynn and he's just like "I like Depeche Mode" and he starts explaining it and can't fully explain it because it's just so good for him, me with Interpol fr fr.
Nine Inch Nails did the soundtrack and they KILLED IT!! I honestly can't stand movies nowadays my attention span is shot but i'd def put that on my yearly rewatch list, and they set up a cliffhanger for another tron movie! YAY! Tron!
Eve was a eeh character, I feel like she could have been given more agency but I also get she was dealing with realizing there was a whole world she had no clue abt and also she was facing certain death around every corner, by programs! I did love her though, she's cool, her motivations were super well developed and understandable and human

YES!!!! Ares is so silly!! But when he started talking abt how he likes ‘classic 80s stuff’ in the second half with no explanation on how he found out about that stuff it just felt like Jared wrote himself into the script imo
I get that lol, I think it was when he was looking through Eve's file? I remember he had zoomed in on a band in one of the pictures and he may have spent his time researching things in between Julian going "work monkey work"
