Can you talk to someone who has experience in relationships?
Maybe talk to him a bit more? He might open up later down the line?
My current bf and I barely talked the first year I developed a crush on him, mainly because we just don't see each other very often
If all fails, it's going to hurt, but remember you won't die of it, and if he doesn't care, he isn't worth your time and energy
But I won't blame you if it lingers for a while, that's how love is. Good luck mate!
