Not feeling Halloween this year

I’m not gonna lie not feeling Halloween this year. Don’t get me wrong. I like Halloween. It’s actually one of my favorite holidays of the year but this year just felt rushed and honestly it came by pretty quick like honestly I’ve been so caught up with life in general like finding work doing my freelance photography stuff and just traveling out of state and out of my town here in Cali that I just totally forgot about Halloween. The day I asked my uncle if he’s going to be dressing up and scaring people while they’re trick-or-treating and he said no because he didn’t have time like that. It was just not a good time to do especially how it is in the streets, especially with the issues that’s going on and I get it. You know people want to stay home and stay safe, but I feel like this year it doesn’t feel right and this is probably a me thing but none of my friends really do Halloween. They work on Halloween. I mean come on like we’re literally 21 years old and we still like to do Halloween stuff but this year we can’t really do it because which is busy and again I am here still looking for work. I’m doing my freelance photography stuff so that’s been keeping me busy and stable while I look for work so maybe this year I’ll probably stay home. Watch my favorite classic horror films get a popcorn bucket and just enjoy the Halloween night without doing anything maybe I’ll talk to my friends and maybe we’ll get on a share screen on discord so we can watch movies. So yeah I hope you read my little rant about how how I feel about Halloween this year and it’s probably just a me thing so yeah, so thanks for reading.
