⋆.˚𖦹⋆✮⋆.˚ Untitled I fear I'll never feel freedom like I did at fifteen Wandering across highways and fields, The breeze carried us down paths only we could see. Blisters festering on my feet, We trekked for miles Found solace Perched on a curb Sharing a cigarette between the two of us watching as the cars blurred Burnt to the filter, It signaled us back along. I'll never feel as free as then No destination in mind, Inattentive to the setting sun The rain trickled down, Unexpected, but we never dwelled on the soaking of our clothes. No time for that, it seemed. We sheltered beneath the canopy of trees Til we hitched a ride Separate ways home A day gone, fifteen miles gained ⋆.˚𖦹⋆✮⋆.˚ if u have any title ideas or criticism pls lemme know/comment!!
