My sister came out of surgery like a champ. She will have to wear a neck brace for the next few weeks, but I suppose that is going to be expected. She did say she should be home later today but that can change if the doctor deems another day necessary. I am hoping she comes home. I miss her.

​I woke from a nap earlier this afternoon with such an ear infection. I am in a lot of pain and my balance is off badly. If this persists, I am going to head over to the night clinic near the house and see if I can get something for the pain. 

​Remember when I told you I hit my head? The doctor said I was okay. No concussion, but he did put me in protocol as a precaution and told me to take things easy. So, I took the entire week off and did nothing. I ended up resting for the week and my niece made sure to continuously check in to make sure I was okay. I admit, I didn't have any big problems. 

I have been trying to write. I had some inspiration happen but nothing worth celebrating over. :/ I need to see if I can con my writing muse into doing something this week. Hell, this has even messed with my reading. I have no inspiration to read any of the million books on my TBR. -sighs- It just sucks.
