I usually just try to be as polite and humble as possible. Idk about blogs since I feel like I'm a bad writer and my life's pretty boring so I don't bother with it but when it comes to reddit or other forums you pretty much just need to keep your head down and don't act like you're better then the people who often spent years learning about that specific interest or subject. When asking something try to give as much info about your issue or question as possible and apologize in advance if you feel the problem might have an easy solution. Idk if this is just my anxiety or actual internet etiquette but I never get in trouble with redditors using this method lol
