I'm trying to make a practical guide to study art in a (semi) self-taught way! I hope i can finish it soon, altough maybe if i make a document i can update it with time.
The guide will be constructed in a way that you can solve the problems you face on your own,and it's more about learning itself than drawing, seen from my perspective.
Starting to learn art has a lot,A LOT of questions in the middle, and it all starts with; where do i start? Wich can derivate to a thousand more questions, questions that i pretend to answer,or get you to answer.
Having so many questions and possibilites makes you anxious and insecure, and that shouldn't be the case. It can make the process of learning slower, out of focus or low-key TORTURE. So,apart from helping myself, maybe i can help you too. Even if everybody is different.
It's tiring for me to see how every single piece of info about learning art is so different or has so many different approaches... sometimes they don't even say anything. Thats because art isn't an exact science and also a lot of the things you learn get mixed up and have different levels on their own. Theres also a lot of ways to learn,too...
So yeah,it will be a more ambiguous, not completely exact guide,so i can give room for you to investigate yourself in case that either i lack concrete info or you are not conviced about it. Getting different persectives about the same subject makes you come to your own conclusions, and i think it's valuable to learn how to aproach investigating too since i think its part of learning, cause youre probably gonna go trough a lot of resources troughout your whole art journey, wichever level you are.
Everybody is different, and that's something not a lot of videos or web pages aknowledge cause they are not there with you.
So dont expect to find every single exercise or every single piece of knowledge. That would be a lot!
For now,its made for myself, but when i finish it at least for myself i would like to share it. Here and in other places.
Right now im trying to sort all the info i got into all the different questions i made to myself, and the questions that came with the answers. Very messy, but im certainly getting somewhere.
If you made it to the end, : What challenges did you face while learning? How did you overcome them? Id love to know!
(Excuse english misspellings if theres any. Not my native language)
