Song Spotlight: Exodus - The Toxic Waltz

Exodus is an 80's thrash metal band, and this is a classic, straight-forward, killer thrash track. I'd also call it thrash's answer to the novelty dance song, as the lyrics are an ode to good ol' moshing. "Friendly violent fun" it calls it.

My favorite part is the rhythm guitar riff under the guitar solo. It keeps the same shape throughout but rises and falls in pitch in a way that gets my blood pumping. Waltz it up!
