6. The Craft Legacy
I'm gonna be totally honest, this is the worst movie I've seen in a WHILE. It felt performative, like boomers trying to be "woke". The styling was strange, the script was real bad, I didn't really like or care about any of the characters, and I don't think I learned any of their names until halfway through the movie. The whole period thing was strange...and I think she needs to go to the hospital because that is WAY too much blood, it should not be forming a puddle on the floor. In the original "The Craft", the coven felt like 'weird misfits' but in a way where they were still cool and likable, in this movie I can see why they are misfits, because they are DEVIOUS and annoying. Seriously, they talked about periods more then witchcraft.

5. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Lowkey idgaf about Harry Potter in general, and I only went to see this movie because it was in theaters and there was nothing better to do. There were lots of plot points that didn't make sense to me (such as what even is the triwizard tournament, like how do the points work? Because it doesn't seem to matter if they win or lose, they don't get more points or anything. also, they are lax about some of the rules, like the age thing, but strict about others, like you can't drop out.) The wizarding world needs better laws surrounding child safety, cause why does this school have a game where they lock 17-year-olds up with dragons? like they can just kill a kid, and the government does nothing about it?

4. Insidious
I watched this movie because it was made by Leigh Whanell and James Wan, and they made my favorite movie; despite that, I did not have high expectations, because admittedly, my favorite movie sucks. Insidious is just a 'meh' movie. I didn't dislike it, but if you told me it was your favorite movie, I'd be like 'are you sure?'. It's not bad, there's just better. If you are a child, or just getting in to horror I'd recommend it though, because it's not too graphic or scary. There was a saw reference, which made me giggle and kick my feet, and as usual I loved Leigh's character. It's a very trope-y movie, but still enjoyable. I had a good time, but I probably wouldn't watch it again. very mediocre.

3. Thirteen
I really like this movie. I probably wouldn't recommend it to my friends, mostly because of how raw it feels to me. This movie (in my opinion) hits very close to home in various regards, and feels very real to the teen-tween experience. I saw a lot of reviews saying "when I was thirteen I was playing minecraft, unrealistic" and it's like, well yes, but I fear you are missing the point. This movie is mean girls for people who like Fiona Apple. I don't think it's perfect, by any means. It's very 2000's (for better and for worse). This movie was both funny and disturbing but mostly disturbing. It's very cinematic, and emotion, and I really liked it. I've seen complaints about the filter, but as I said, I'm a saw fan, I don't mind stupid filters. (ALSO IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THIS MOVIE PLEASE CHECK THE WARNINGS, it's not super graphic horror or whatever, but it has quite a few dark subjects portrayed through middle schoolers)

2. Jennifer's Body
This movie is great. The fashion was iconic, even though I consider it pretty light on the actual horror, I still think it brought an appropriate amount. It was pretty funny, and more complex than I expected. Obviously, Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried are beautiful, and Jennifer and Needy's relationship was quite interesting. waaay better than I expected, would definitely recommend.

1. The Craft
started with the craft, and we're gonna end with the craft. I loved this movie. All the characters were charming and interesting, and I had such a good time. Honestly, I was lowkey rooting for them the entire time, even though I don't think we were supposed to. I think having the thing that makes them powerful be what tears them apart is interesting, though the second half of the movie wasn't my favorite. I wanna be a part of their coven so bad tbh. I had fun.
