Deltarune Ships

Imma give my opinion on the main ships of deltarune bc i need to put it out of my skin. Imma rank them accord to what’s right, which means what i like, fight me (don’t fight me, but i would love to hear your opinions :3)

Kralsei: probably the og ship, existing since chapter one (though almost every ship has existed since chapter 1 but anyways). The “protagonist” x the femboy is a pretty trope, and it works in a lot of media. Still, i have a few problems with this ship. First, Ralsei reminds me of Asriel. I know that Tricky Tony wont do incest in his game (I SURE HOPE HE DOESN’T) but it is still a bit weird to me. If you ignore that, and say that Ralsei is probably not Asriel, I find it weird that Kris doesn’t seem to care much for Ralsei until chapter 4, even if Ralsei does care. So idk, cute ship but i find that it is probably more Ralsei x The player. 6/10

Suselle: this is THE ONLY ship, and I don’t care what anyone says. It’s cute, it’s wholesome and it’s THE ship. Like, there is little to nothing wrong with it. The ACTUAL protagonist x the love interest/Girl (bc that’s how Noelle is described according to the prophecy). Noelle has had this crush on Susie for the longest time, and Susie most probably feels the same, even if she is just realising it. Like, come on, they have the digital carnival scenes, the ferris wheel scene, the church scene, the Holliday house scenes, the small details about the pencil and when Susie asks Ralsei about Noelle. For me, all of this makes it OBVIOUS that they like each other. The two problems i can think of is that Susie is oblivious to Noelle’s feelings for a long time and Carol. But apart from that, one of the best ships, 11/10.

Krusie: OMG I HATE THIS SHIP SO MUCH. IT’S BAD, IT’S THE OPPOSITE OF CORRECT AND IT MAKES NO SENSE. Ok, maybe i am too harsh about it, but i have a very, VERY strong dislike about this ship. Let’s go over the nice parts first. I’m tempted to say nothing, but it’s an enemies to friends to lovers ship. Even if I’m not a fan of this trope, i can see the appeal. The small scenes in chapters 3 and 4 are cute, and i guess that’s where the ship starts. BUT. The song that plays when they are in the restaurant (a scene which a lot of people take as krusie material) is LITERALLY CALLED FRIENDS. FRIENDS!!!!! I think that people saw the small scenes where Kris blushes or when they are hanging out and said “OMG THEY LIKE EACH OTHER CONFIRMED AND CANON” while literally ignoring the Suselle scenes and the scene when Susie hates the Knight and Kris is like literally working with The Knight and doesn’t tell her anything. That ain’t gonna work, 0/10, don’t like it.

Susie x Ralsei: Cute concept, I don’t hate this one. They are opposites, they slowly learn about each other, teach each other things and get together as friends. The only problem that i see is that Ralsei doesn’t tell the whole story and that Susie doesn’t like that. And that Ralsei is not, well, real. But it’s a pretty ship, it’s cute, 8/10.

Kriselle: This ship is lukewarm for me, but I can see the potential of it being super cute or horrifying and gutwrenching. The normal route version of this ship is pretty, the longing best friends who grew apart and then back together. It’s cute, even if it’s canon that Noelle likes Susie. In the weird route however, it’s creepy, it’s wrong and the implications it carries are so bad. So yea, depends on the situation. 6/10

And now, the one and only, the one that pisses people off, the one that matters most!

KERDLY: BEST SHIP. IT’S SO AWESOME AND IT IS THE CORRECT OPTION. It’s funny, it’s cute, it’s doomed and, most of all, it pisses off either Kris or the right kinds of players. Berdly and Kris have some sort of one-sided rivalry, shown by their interaction and the extra content like the blog. They play pranks and tricks on each other. Berdly deserves to be LOVED, HE IS UNDERRATED AND THATS A FINAL. Besides that, the ship is doomed to fail in either the normal or the weird route. The weird route is more explicitly shown, but in the normal route, once kris gets rid of us, they’ll probably break up. BUT, I love Kerdly, i love Berdly, 1000000/10.
