Hotel Del Luna

I'm about 3/4 of the way through Hotel Del Luna on Netflix, and I'm really enjoying it!

         It's the latest in the long stretch of K-Dramas I've watched, but it is definitely becoming one of my favorites. I've realized that I really like the supernatural-leaning shows more than the average.

         The first K-Drama I ever watched, which still holds the spot of "favorite", was "Secret Garden". In it, the basic hijinks occur- class mismatched people fall in love, they decide they can't be together, suddenly the female lead is a tear-water fountain- you know, the basics. The twist, though, really brought it over the edge for me though. It was just a sprinkle of magic, but it pulled the story just enough away from reality to charm the heck out of me.

         Hotel Del Luna has that same mystic vibe to it, but it's all over the place. I am very pleasantly surprised. I had started to feel like every single K-Drama I picked out was the same couch, different upholstery, but I managed to pick something great this time!

         I will edit this blog post once I finish the show. Once I have, I would love to talk about it with anyone else who's watched it!

Edit: It was so good TTnTT Theres a little snippet at the end of the final credits as well! I wonder if there will be a new series after this one!
