Halloween my beloved

I'm the #1 Halloween defender and Halloween makes me rlly happy SO I wanna yap abt why I like it and some things I wanna do b4 Halloween season ends

Also F*CK Christmas rn, it isn't November yet/hj

Halloween is my favorite holiday (close to Christmas) and I need to say why I prefer it over Christmas. Halloween simply has always felt less... jarring, for lack of a better word. Halloween is more cozy and chill until actual Halloween day, unlike Christmas which appears months before it's even close. I also feel like Halloween decorations have always been more of an option, unlike how Christmas feels forced. Like, don't get me wrong. I LOVE Halloween decor, but sometimes when I don't do it, it doesn't feel like I'm missing much. Unlike on Christmas, I think I'd tweak if i didn't put up a tree or some shit.

Another thing is Halloween day is THE BEST ever. For me, personally, our tradition is friends come to our house and we all have a big dinner together with stuff like chilli, salad, pizza and stuff, and then we all go out for hours and trick or treat, and we all go back to my house and trade and DEVOUR candy ! And then I wake up with a very worth it stomach ache. But Halloween is always just so special, to spend genuine time with my friends, laughing as we walk down the neighborhood, it's always felt so happy. And sometimes just some laughs and happiness is all I need for a moment. Also the COSTUMES. Oh good golly gee the costumes. I LOVE dressing up with my whole heart. I love dressing up so much hehehehehe. I love going around with all my friends in our drastically different costumes, and just laughing. Plus, I'm a nerd. Cosplaying in my bones frfr.

Alright, enough of that. Time for my goals for before the Halloween season. Before you yell at me, I count a little after halloween as still Halloween season. Fight me mfs/j.

1. I wanna make some sort of fun Halloween oc art piece. Sounds simple, right ? WRONG. I'M LAZY

2. I wanna have a watchathon of Spooky Month with food and getting super cozy in my room like a damn loser who needs a life. Who cares if it's sad I'm having a watchathon in my room alone ? I HAVE MY PLUSHIES DAMNIT. But fr, Spooky Month means so much to me and it's Halloween season, so might as well.

3. This may sound stupid, but a room "makeover". And I'll change it later, but I wanna make it a little Halloween themed before it's too late hehe >:3 

4. I wanna try to make cookies with my mom. Pretty simple, but I think it would be fun ! I wanna bake with my mama more ^^

5. Go on a ride around my neighborhood at night and look at all the Halloween decorations ! And bring my plushies along so we can see the magic of Halloween together before we go trick or treating. I know this sounds silly, but looking at Halloween decorations before Halloween has always been so fun for me. It makes me really take them in before actually trick or treating.

6. Spend a few hours in my room with my plushies and have a Halloween themed FAKE tea party with FAKE food ^^

7. Have a genuinely amazing Halloween with my friends and family. 

Some of this may sound cringe, but idc. I wanna have a Halloween how *I* want. And that means doing this stuff
